The XFL Has Been Asked About Signing Antonio Brown

In his latest Twitter tirade earlier today, Antonio Brown declared he was done with the NFL and will no longer play in the league.

So, assuming he makes good on that statement--and NFL teams honestly shouldn't be in a rush to sign Brown anyway, given the accusations he is facing--where might the star wide receiver play next? There are other leagues out there, after all.

It doesn't sound like the XFL is in the cards for Brown. A new report from Pro Football Talk indicates the fledgling league is not interested in AB.

"An XFL spokesperson tells PFT that the fledgling spring league is not interested in Brown," the report reads.

In all honesty, football should be the least of Brown's concerns right now. He has pressing legal issues and doesn't appear to be in a good place mentally.

We can't blame the XFL for not being interested. No one should be at this point.

We'll see if they change their minds down the line.
