Video: Here's The Best Throw Of The XFL Season So Far

Best throw of the XFL season so far.

You can criticize the quality of the play all you want, but the XFL is filling that football void and provide us with plenty of entertainment in the process. However, after several games with only limited highlights, we finally got a play that could go down as the best throw of the season.

In the first half of today's game between the Houston Roughnecks and St. Louis BattleHawks, Roughnecks QB PJ Walker pulled off arguably the best touchdown pass we've seen so far.

From 15 yards out, Walker dropped back but found a big St. Louis defender right in front of him. Improvising, Walker perfectly side-armed his pass, finding wide receiver Cam Phillips for the touchdown.

The score allowed the Roughnecks to extend their lead in the game to 15-6. Video of the awesome throw can be seen below:

Thus far, the former Temple star and Indianapolis Colts reserve looks like one of the best QBs in the fledgling league.

According to the Tampa Bay Times, the Pittsburgh Steelers even attempted to sign him as a prep QB to take on Lamar Jackson during the 2019 NFL season. The XFL blocked that move though.

Suffice it to say, Walker's strong performance in the XFL could result in even more NFL attention in the weeks to come.

Is PJ Walker the best QB in the XFL right now?
